Robert Robertson (1781 - 1863) was the son and second child of John Robertson (1744 - ?) and Ellen/Ellin/Helen Clark or Clerick (baptised 16 July 1755, Edramucky - ?). He married Christian Robertson (Apr 1795, Tirarthur, Killin, Scotland - 11 June 1870, Rothesay, Bute, Scotland) some time before 1818 and together they had the following children:
